Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! :)
It's that time of the year again where you pause to contemplate, sort out what 365 days have brought you, pick the little bits and pieces you wish you keep with you moving on into the new year and leaving behind the others behind tightly sealed in a box labelled 'memories'.
2006 has certainly passed by in a flash, mostly cause most of it wasn't spent studying. It feels like i have not done much nor accomplished anything significant this year cause most of it was spent on 'holiday' - either working or going on holidays
It seems like christmas creeps up on us earlier and earlier each year.
We're growing up way to fast. Was talking to quite a few people this week and then we all came to the same conclusion : 2003 was the best year of our lives, somehow, it was just a year that everyone had everything going for them.
But, as hard as we may try, there's nothing we can do to stop time from progressing while we tread unwillingly on into adulthood. It's good to be young, without responsibilites, living in our simple little world.
But then again maybe it's through all experience growing up, being able to make mistakes, that allow us to truly 'grow up'. I guess as this year concludes, i feel myself changing, leaving behind those childish idealogies, growing up and facing the world out there. Maybe, just maybe, that's a good sign.
I guess there's alot more to say but i'm going to bake with my sisters now. (what happened to my studying? *shrugs* )
Congratulations to cel weili and grace who aced their exams :) I can assure you my grades this time around are going to be a far cry.
I'm sorry i did not have time to send out christmas cards this year. But that doesn't mean that you're forgotten :p I promise one next year though i'm trying not to come back next year and get my sisters to fly over instead.
Have a blessed christmas!!
